Our Story
Breaking Centuries of Silence
In the remote South Omo Valley of Ethiopia, an ancient practice called Mingi has condemned countless innocent children to death for generations.
Children are declared "cursed" for being born with certain characteristics— out of wedlock, having their top teeth grow before bottom teeth, or simply being twins. The traditional "solution" was to leave these children in the wilderness or throw them into the river.
We refuse to accept this. Through education, rescue operations, and community dialogue, we're writing a new chapter—one where every child is valued and protected.
